Webinar 2: Financing Women Entrepreneurs
This webinar will explore the persistent barriers and untapped opportunities in supporting women-owned and women-led businesses. Designed as an interactive, peer-to-peer learning space, the session invites participants to share experiences and insights on implementing or refining gender-inclusive finance strategies.
Despite growing awareness of the vital role women entrepreneurs play in economic development, they continue to face unequal access to capital, markets, and support systems. The session will delve into the root causes of these disparities and spotlight actionable levers that can drive more inclusive investment.
By the end of the webinar, participants will gain practical strategies for applying a gender lens to financing women entrepreneurs, learn to avoid common pitfalls, and identify the key success factors behind effective approaches. Whether you’re an investor, policymaker, development practitioner, or entrepreneur, this session offers concrete takeaways to enhance your impact and advance inclusive growth.
This session will be led by Veronica Karpoich, she is a NIRAS associated gender-inclusive finance expert with over 15 years of experience helping financial service providers better serve women entrepreneurs across Africa, Latin America, and Asia. She has led initiatives to strengthen both financial and non-financial services and has worked with multiple organizations to advance gender-smart strategies.
