GGSF at Inclusive Finance 2025
Closing the Gender Gap: Dedicated vs. Adapted Financial Services
The European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) will host its annual event, Inclusive Finance 2025, in Luxembourg, gathering investors, financial institutions, policymakers, and development partners to discuss the future of inclusive finance.
As part of the programme, the Global Gender-Smart Fund (GGSF) will lead the workshop “Closing the Gender Gap: Dedicated vs. Adapted Financial Services”, on November 12, 2025.
The session, led by the GGSF Technical Assistance Team, will explore whether women need dedicated financial products or if existing ones can be adapted to better meet their needs. Through interactive discussions, real-time polling, and practical exercises, participants will examine how to embed gender-smart innovation within financial institutions — from product design to operational strategies.
Designed for financial practitioners, investors, and policymakers, the workshop aims to provide actionable tools for advancing inclusive, gender-responsive financial systems.
GGSF’s participation reinforces its commitment to helping partner institutions strengthen their gender strategies, drive innovation, and expand equitable access to finance.
